It's Christmas time in the city
and throughout our countryside.
When shoppers look for treasurers
in which they can give with pride.

It's Christmas in those mansions
that set high upon the hill.
It's also Christmas in a cottage
with a single candle on its sill.

Christmas time when choirs sing
about our dear Savior's birth.
For in that little far away manger
He brought hope to this here earth.

It's Christmas most everywhere
it's a season that's set apart.
The dearest heart filled Christmas
is the Christmas that's in our heart.
