Thank You -- To The American Soldier!

From Valley Forge to Iraq
Young men and young women
Have marched off unto war
Giving their all for us
Who live in freedom’s arms.
Protected by courage-
Courage that doesn’t waiver
In the face of danger,
That marches forward on
To preserve liberty.
American soldier!
We thank you oh so much!
For the sacrifices
You have given each day.
As you have sacrificed
While others march in strife
You are still so willing
To give your very life!
We are very grateful!
American soldier!
There are none, brave as you!
You are our shining light!
The shores of Tripoli
To the sands of Iraq
You have carried freedom
Forward, to a brighter-
Brighter and better life.
You are the very best!
You deserve eternal thanks!
American soldier!
