My idea of a perfect date would be a man who takes me to a romantic dinner and then we walk on the beach barefoot discussing books and, movies, and music....Miss Congeniality.

Sounds good to me....well, the books part might be a little difficult to pull off. Recently a friend was discussing dating with me....he survived. Anyway, he seems to have this notion that a date is a time to "impress." I was thinking back to my two most memorable dates. The first was an afternoon picnic at Wilson's Creek Battleground. And the second....well, I think it would have to be an evening spent standing on the deck of the Branson Belle in the moonlight. Nothing much was really happening....my dates and I were just sorta enjoying the beauty around us....together. It was nice. To be completely honest there was just nothing impressive except the natural beauty around us. Both dates were totally free and we wore jeans.

Some of the most rewarding and beautiful moments of a friendship happen in the unforeseen open spaces between planned activities. It is important that you allow these spaces to exist....Christine Leefe.
