1st Infantry Division Soldiers donate toys to Iraqi Child Organization
TIKRIT, Iraq – Charlie Company, Task Force 1-18 Infantry conducted a toy donation at the Iraqi Child Organization here on Oct. 17.
The Iraqi Child Organization is the equivalent of a pre-school in the western education system.
The soldiers gave out soccer balls, frisbees and various educational toys. The teachers at the center expressed their gratitude and the children spent the afternoon trying out their new toys with the Charlie Company Soldiers.
This is part of a larger Task Force 1-18 Infantry campaign to resource schools throughout their area of operations.
