"All the king's horses and all the king's men can't put the past together again. So let's remember: Don't try to saw sawdust"....Dale Carnegie.

For many, this is sad....for me....I am ecstatically happy to never have to repeat my past :-) However, there are many special moments I would LOVE to have over again....

The following is taken from Dale Carnegie's Scrapbook....

"One is happy as a result of one's own efforts, once one knows the necessary ingredients of happiness--simple taste, a certain degree of courage, self-denial to a point, love of work, and, above all, a clear conscience. Happiness is no vague dream, of that I now feel certain. By the proper use of experience and thought one can draw much from oneself, by determination and patience one can even restore one's health--so let us live life as it is, and not be ungrateful"....George Sand.

Most of this I have addressed....but the part about restoring health, maybe not so much.  I was always sick when I was online.  Not really sick....just sorta not feeling well.  I would have a lot of headaches....cold, allergy type of stuff.  My mom is a firm believer in fresh air and sunshine being a key to good health.  She used to say, "Rachel, you need to get out more." These days, she and I spend a lot of afternoons doing nothing....out back.  We sometimes have my nieces and nephew as company, maybe even my sisters....and I do feel better :-)  Whether it is the fresh air and sunshine....or just being lazy....it's a wonderful feeling. As I listen to everyone talk, I realize also that these days will never be repeated. We as a family are changing, growing....and so this is our time to be together....now IS all we have :-)
